The treatment usually lasts about 30 to 45 minutes, making it a perfect option for a quick but effective skincare boost.
While both DiamondGlow and Hydrafacial leave skin feeling brighter, smoother, and healthier, there are some differences that we think make Diamond Glow preferable to Hydrafacial.
Unlike HydraFacial, DiamondGlow emphasizes its versatility, targeting as many skin types and skin care goals as possible. DiamondGlow comes with 6 different diamond tips to provide a wide range of peels for each patient, while HydraFacial uses a lower plastic tip. Plus, it offers up to two condition-specific serums to take skin rejuvenation to the next level.
For us, the biggest and most important difference is in the results. DiamondGlow delivers serum to the dermal-epidermal junction much deeper than HydraFacial, where the serum only reaches the surface of the skin. Reaching deeper levels of the dermis, DiamondGlow is also more effective at exfoliating, extracting, and delivering serum.This provides excellent long-term results. Unlike HydraFacial where results start to fade after a few days, DiamondGlow results last up to months with proper care.
You will want to limit your sun exposure after the diamond glow because it is a deep exfoliating treatment. SPF is always recommended. You should also avoid exfoliating and using retinoids for 5-7 days afterwards.
Mild redness is to be expected, but subsides quickly after the treatment. You will find that your skin feels instantly smoother and more hydrated.
Absolutely! It can be done the day of an event or party. We recommend waiting a couple hours afterwards before applying makeup.
