  • Remove all jewelry from the treatment area.

  • If possible, remove all makeup in the treatment area.

  • Avoid excessive sun exposure (or tanning beds) 1 week prior to treatment.

  • Avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDS) such as ibuprofen, Advil, aspirin, Aleve (unless taking these medications for a medical condition).
