Why We Only Use Merz and Allergan Injectables
At PM Aesthetics, we don’t cut corners or chase trends. We exclusively use Merz and Allergan injectable products, the two gold-standard manufacturers in medical aesthetics. These are the brands backed by decades of clinical data, global safety studies, and proven, consistent results.
We don’t gamble with off-brand or gray-market products just to save a few dollars. Our patients trust us for outcomes that are safe, natural, and precise, and that means using the best science available, not the cheapest option.
Better ingredients. Better data. Better results. That’s why we only inject Merz and Allergan.

Skinvive
The newest addition PM Aesthetics' injectable lineup, SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® is a smooth hyaluronic acid (HA) gel that’s injected as microdroplets below the surface of the skin, increasing hydration to improve cheek smoothness. In clinical studies, patients who were treated with SKINVIVE™ by JUVÉDERM® reported high satisfaction with how glowing, hydrated, refreshed, and healthy their skin looked through 6 months.
*Pricing: $650 per treatment (contains two syringes)
Radiesse
Radiesse is a dermal filler that is used for smoothing moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds such as nasolabial folds. It is also used for injection in the cheeks to restore volume and along the jawline to define the jaw. As it works, Radiesse stimulates the naturally-occurring collagen beneath your skin. The results are seen immediately and can last up to two years.
Radiesse can also be injected into the hands to restore the youthful appearance of your hands. Our injectors are also trained in the Radiesse BBL (Brazilian Butt lift). The product is mixed with saline and lidocaine and injected into the Buttocks or hip dip filling the area and to stimulate the body to create more collagen.
Juvederm
The Juvederm collection of HA Dermal Fillers is designed for adding volume to various areas of the face without surgery. Juvederm fillers feature patented Vycross cross-linking technology, which creates a Hyaluronic Acid with a higher molecular weight, resulting in smoother and longer lasting filler. Depending on the formula used and area treated, results may last anywhere from 1-2 years.
Use:
- VOLLURE XC or ULTRA PLUS XC
- VOLBELLA XC or ULTRA XC
-VOLLUX XC
Belotero
Belotero Balance (+) is a hyaluronic acid injectable filler designed to integrate into facial skin tissue. The unique manufacturing process for Belotero Balance (+) yields a soft and cohesive gel that, once injected, instantly fills the skin to help smooth moderate-to-severe etched-in lines and wrinkles in the lower face.
While the product is versatile enough to handle moderate nasolabial folds (smile lines), lines around the mouth, and chin wrinkles, it may be an ideal option for treating delicate areas such as etched-in vertical lip lines (thin lines that appear above and around the lips).
Individual results may vary, but Belotero Balance (+) may last 6 months or more.
Hyaluronidase Filler Dissolving
$400 per vial
At PM Aesthetics, we believe you should feel completely confident in your results. If you’ve had filler done elsewhere and are unhappy with the outcome, or if you’re one of our patients who simply wants to start fresh, our expert providers offer hyaluronidase to safely and effectively dissolve unwanted hyaluronic acid fillers.
Hyaluronidase works by breaking down the filler material so your body can naturally clear it, restoring your features to their natural appearance. We take a careful, personalized approach to ensure both safety and precision.
Whether correcting a previous provider’s work or adjusting results from your own treatments, our goal is to give you a clean canvas for your next step in aesthetics.

Lips: Usually 1 syringe enhances shape, definition, and subtle volume for a naturally fuller, hydrated look.
-
Chin: Around 1–2 syringes refine chin projection and improve facial symmetry and profile.
-
Jawline: Typically 3–4 syringes sculpt and define the jawline for a stronger, more contoured appearance.
-
Undereye: Usually 1–2 syringes reduce hollows and dark circles for a refreshed, well-rested look.

-
Neck Lines: Around 1–2 syringes smooth horizontal lines and improve the appearance of the neckline.
-
Cheeks: Typically 2–3 syringes restore lifted, voluminous cheeks and enhance facial contours.

Creepy Skin (above knees, elbows, etc.): Usually 2–3 syringes per treatment improve skin laxity and restore a smoother, youthful appearance.
Medicine-First Injectable Standards
We exclusively use FDA-approved dermal fillers from Allergan and Merz Aesthetics—never off-brand or discount products. Our providers complete quarterly advanced training, and every treatment plan is based on facial anatomy, aesthetic balance, and long-term outcomes. If we don't believe filler is right for you, we'll tell you. That's the PM Aesthetics standard.
PRE-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
-
Remove all jewelry from the treatment area.
-
If possible, remove all makeup in the treatment area.
-
Avoid excessive sun exposure (or tanning beds) 1 week prior to treatment.
-
Avoid non-steroidal anti-inflammatories (NSAIDS) such as ibuprofen, Advil, aspirin, Aleve (unless taking these medications for a medical condition).
POST-TREATMENT INSTRUCTIONS
-
Immediately after treatment, there may be redness, bruising, swelling, tenderness, and/or itching near the injection site.
-
Avoid itching, massaging, or picking around injection site. Most symptoms disappear within a few hours to a few days. If symptoms last more than 3 days, get in touch with our office.
-
Use an approved post-treatment product to reduce swelling and minimize bruising.
-
You may take acetaminophen (Tylenol) to reduce any pain as necessary within 6 to 10 hours of treatment.
-
Avoid drinking alcohol or partaking in strenuous exercise, as it may result in additional bruising.
-
Until swelling and redness have resolved, avoid intense heat in the treated areas, including sunbathing, tanning, saunas, hot tubs, or hot wax. Avoid skiing or other winter sports.
-
Sunscreen and makeup can be applied, and the area can be gently washed with a gentle cleanser.
-
Minimize movement of treated area(s). However, you can massage the site if there is a visible bump. Depending on the areas treated and the product used, you may feel "firmness." These areas will soften and settle with time (usually 1-2 weeks).
Before & After: The PM Aesthetics Difference
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Dermal fillers are gel-like substances injected beneath the skin to restore volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours.
Fillers add volume under the skin, supporting facial structures and smoothing wrinkles. Some types, like hyaluronic acid fillers, also attract water for a natural, plump look.
Most treatments take 30–60 minutes, depending on the areas being treated.
Most fillers contain a small amount of numbing agent, and the injection process is generally well-tolerated.
Results are usually visible immediately, though slight swelling or bruising may occur.
Duration depends on the type of filler and treatment area—typically 6–18 months.
Most fillers last 6–18 months, and touch-ups can maintain the results as needed.
Yes, when administered by a trained professional, fillers are safe and FDA-approved for cosmetic use.
Mild swelling/bruising can occur. Our PM Pout ($699) is a comprehensive lip filler package with 1 syringe Juvéderm® Ultra, Alastin Inhance post-injection serum, and LED light therapy to support recovery. If you notice a bruise the next day after any filler, stop in, we offer complimentary IPL “bruise zap” at our Bedford clinic to help minimize its appearance. Care is delivered by advanced-trained providers with transparent pricing, member-first access, and no ads or promotions, just evidence-based treatment.
A lip flip uses Botox or Xeomin to relax the upper lip muscle, allowing more of the natural lip to show for a subtle, refined look. Lip filler adds volume and definition with hyaluronic acid. At PM Aesthetics, our providers help you choose the option that best matches your goals for natural or fuller lips.

Lip filler longevity varies, but most patients enjoy results for 9-12 months, from Juvederm. Our team explains the science behind filler metabolism and provides aftercare guidance to maximize your outcome. Memberships allow patients to plan refreshers with predictable costs and priority booking, reinforcing our patient-first model.

Our Split Syringe Policy:
Why We Don't Offer Half-Syringe Pricing
We're often asked if we can split a syringe between two patients or save half a syringe for later use at a reduced price. The answer is no, and here's why.
What "Split Syringes" Actually Means
When a practice offers to split a syringe or save half for later, they are:
-
Opening a sterile syringe and storing the unused portion in a refrigerator
-
Reusing that opened syringe on a second patient (or the same patient days/weeks later)
-
Violating manufacturer safety protocols and FDA sterility guidelines
Once a syringe is opened, it is no longer sterile, even if stored in a fridge. Bacteria and contaminants can enter the moment it's exposed to air or comes into contact with skin or needles.
The Risks of Reusing Opened Syringes
Reusing an opened filler syringe can lead to:
-
Infection (bacterial contamination, abscesses, cellulitis)
-
Granulomas (inflammatory lumps requiring medical treatment)
-
Allergic reactions (from contamination or degraded product)
-
Product breakdown (filler loses efficacy and safety once exposed)
-
Serious complications (tissue necrosis in rare cases)
No discount is worth your health.
What Allergan & Merz Say
Allergan and Merz, the pharmaceutical companies that manufacture the dermal fillers we use, explicitly prohibit storing and reusing opened syringes.
From their safety guidelines:
-
Syringes are single-use only
-
Once opened, any unused product must be discarded immediately
-
Storing opened syringes for later use voids all product warranties and safety guarantees
We follow these guidelines without exception.
Why Some Practices Offer Split Syringes Anyway
We understand, filler is expensive, and splitting syringes can make it seem more affordable. So why do some practices do it?
Because they prioritize profit over safety.
Offering split syringes allows practices to:
-
Charge two patients for one syringe (doubling revenue per unit)
-
Attract price-sensitive customers with "discounted" half-syringe pricing
-
Compete on cost rather than clinical standards
We refuse to compromise patient safety to lower prices or increase profit margins.
Our Policy: Safety Over Savings
At PM Aesthetics:
-
Every syringe is used on one patient only
-
Any unused product is discarded immediately after your treatment
-
We never store opened syringes, even if you request it
-
We follow manufacturer safety protocols without exception
If you want half a syringe administered, we're happy to do that, but the remaining product will be discarded, not saved. This is not negotiable, because your safety is not negotiable.
Affordable Alternatives That Don't Compromise Safety
We understand that filler pricing can feel out of reach, especially if you're just starting your aesthetic journey. Here are safer ways to make lip enhancement more affordable:
-
Start with just a lip flip ($69)—gives you a subtle lift without the cost of filler
-
Save up and return when you're ready—we'd rather you wait and do it safely than rush into something risky
-
Join our membership program—members receive significant discounts on filler and all other services
-
Choose the PM Pout Package—bundled pricing saves you $159 and includes healing modalities
Questions to Ask If You're Shopping Around
If another practice offers "split syringes" or "half-syringe pricing," ask them:
-
"Do you split syringes between multiple patients?"
-
"How do you store opened syringes?"
-
"Do you follow Allergan/Merz manufacturer guidelines on single-use syringes?"
-
"Are your providers medically licensed and trained?"
If they hesitate, give vague answers, or try to reassure you that "refrigeration keeps it safe," that's a red flag.
No reputable, safety-focused practice will reuse opened syringes. Period.
